After leaving Swiftly, I was recommended to apply to Atlassian, and I’m very glad that I did! This is the biggest role that I’ve had so far, and I’m very grateful for the opportunity. Atlassian has allowed me to work on multiple projects, both digital and physical. I’ve learned more about being connected with stakeholders in my day to day as well.
The type of work that we do at Atlassian is very different than the rest of the teams there. I work with the events team, and we do everything from ux to physically designing events. We cover multiple events a year, and the work for each is very thematic to the subject that it covers. I’ve gotten to work with a lot of venues because of this.
Atlassian has been great, and I would recommend being a part of the events that we hold each year.
I’ve been to a lot of places over the years, and my design career has almost hit the seven year mark. That’s funny to say, because I just graduated with my BFA in 2021, but I have two design degrees, and a lot of work under my belt. But, for the first time in my career, I feel like I have a great support system behind me and that I’m set up for success. The work with Atlassian can be viewed here. As I work with them, I’ll update my design page to reflect it.
