For my capstone, I decided to create a music festival that will support a non-profit, and it will split its funds to go towards local communities. I chose this because local communities don’t have as much funding, and it causes a rift. Bringing more light to the situation will cause people to do more for the communities affected. I chose to hold the festival in New Orleans, LA to keep it localized, but big enough to draw attention.
The included collateral will lend itself to advertising and branding. Implementing graffiti into my artwork will help with my target audience. Throughout my design process, viewers will be able to see the way that I combine the issue presented with the creativeness of a festival. My progress thus far is below. The first video is a motion graphic ad, and the second is a website for the festival. As of Thursday, my senior capstone is now complete. My presentation is below:
