Overview
I chose to work at Chesbro Music Company because it aligned with my goal of completing my design MFA. During my time there, I had the opportunity to lead various projects and grow as a designer, director, and person. Working at Chesbro allowed me to be a part of a company with a rich history in the music industry.
I’m currently working on multiple projects, but the main one is the brand guide. the images below show the progress that I’ve made while developing it. I went for a scrapbook approach, since the company wants to keep the classic feel. By doing this, I believe that it gives a sense of looking back on what the company has been through. This gives the chance for me to include historical imagery from the city as well. I also decided to keep the brand guide very minimal, so that I can bring more attention to the actual content itself. As the saying goes, “less is more.” The progress that I’ve made so far can be seen below.
The following images are promotional. The first one is used on the rangers page from the Teton website. I included a video of the web progress above. The second image uses graphic elements as well that relates to Teton Guitars (sub-company of Chesbro).
I completed a catalogue for the brand as well. The catalogue focuses on guitar and ukulele straps. I kept this design a bit more graphic in order to add more expression to the pages. The progress that I’ve made so far can be seen below.
