I’m Irrie, the human designer.
So here’s the thing…
Here’s a little about me. I was born in Brookhaven, MS, and lived mostly in Monticello, MS. While there, I graduated high school in 2016, and received my Associate of Arts in Graphic Design in 2018 from Copiah-Lincoln Community College. I’m also a 2021 graduate from The University of Southern Mississippi. While there, I became a member of the Afro-American Student Organization, The National Society of Leadership and Success, The Southern Miss Association of Black Journalists, The NAACP, the San Francisco Chapter of the AIGA, NIRSA, PRSSA, and AAF.
Yeah yeah yeah I know, but it’s almost over, so please keep reading!
I love making art when I’m free. I’m more of a goal oriented person when it comes to my career and what I’m learning. A self-starter, I like for everything that I do to have a purpose. I’m going into my seventh year as a designer, and that makes it almost a decade now. I reflect on that often, and I now plan to further work on my own career.
